Turkish Cargo was voted Cargo Airline of the Year 2019 by the global freight forwarder readership of Air Cargo News magazine and received its trophy during a gala awards event held at the Runnymede on Thames Hotel, Windsor.
As the fast growing carrier registered a 20% increase in tonnages in 2018. Turkish Cargo has announced its strategy to be a top five carrier for high value and temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products by 2022.
The award to Turkish Cargo was presented to Fatih Ciğal, Senior Vice President – Cargo Marketing by Ross Marino, Senior Vice President – International Airport Operations.
